Jeff and Denise Webb
Dear Cedar Lake Family,
We have an exciting announcement to share with you! This Sunday, May 5th, we will be honored to have Jeff and Denise Webb as our special guest speakers at Cedar Lake Church. They will be joining us for our 8:45 and 10:30 morning services.
Jeff and Denise will be sharing an incredible testimony of how God miraculously saved Jeff's life in a recent automobile accident. Despite sustaining a broken neck and severe spinal injury, Jeff's recovery has been nothing short of miraculous. Even though doctors gave him a 90% chance of dying and a 100% chance of being a paraplegic, he is walking today! Their story is a true testament to the power of faith and God's intervention.
Jeff and Denise are not only members of our Cedar Lake family, but they are also the son and daughter-in-law of our very own J.W. and Carolyn Webb. They grew up here on the Coast and have deep roots in our community. Jeff was dedicated as a baby, received Christ as his Savior, and was baptized at Cedar Lake Church. He and his brother Keith worked alongside their parents in the bus ministry for many years. Jeff's athletic talents led him to become an outstanding quarterback at St. Martin High School and even to play under Coach Bear Bryant at the University of Alabama. Denise, on the other hand, found her faith as a teenager through the youth ministry of Cedar Lake.
Both Jeff and Denise have served the Lord in various capacities at CLC. Denise played a vital role in our "I Love America" production for 14 years, drawing thousands of attendees each year. They also served as youth leaders under Pastor Murphy and Twila Matheny, investing in the lives of young people who are now leaders in ministry, missions, and service to the Lord. In 2000, they moved to McComb, where Jeff runs an award-winning State Farm agency and serves in ministry at First Baptist Church. Denise has held different staff positions at FBC, leading youth, women, and adults, while Jeff serves on the board of deacons.
Jeff's testimony has already touched the lives of thousands of people, and we believe that God will continue to work miracles through their story. We have high expectations for this Sunday's services and encourage you to invite your friends. Come with expectant hearts, ready to experience God's power and be encouraged in your faith.
We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
